BIO
Born and raised in the city of Las Vegas, I was exposed to the world of art at an early age. My parents, both being artists themselves, influenced and encouraged my creative talents. Whether it was from behind a sketch pad or on stage in the spotlight, I always put everything I have in to my work. I continued my involvement in the arts by studying theater at the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts High School.
At the age of 19 I made the life changing decision to enlist in the United States Army. I trained for 9 months as part of a tank crew, and on March 19th 2003 I crossed the border into Iraq as part of the invasion force for Operation Iraqi Freedom. After a year-long tour I returned to the United States and began to prepare for my discharge out of the Army. I had enrolled in the Art Institute of Las Vegas for graphic design and planned to start classes the following year upon exiting the Army. But because of the unforeseen turn in the war in Iraq, I was called upon a second time to serve in combat. I had to postpone my plans for my future and trained another 9 months as an infantry man and returned for a second year in Iraq.
In May of 2006 I received an honorable discharged at the rank of E-5 Sergeant. 3 months later I began my first semester at the College of Southern Nevada for Graphic Design. I always had a love for photography, but it wasn't until I received my first DSLR, a gift from my brother, that I realized it was my true calling. I love being behind the lens. I love coming up with a concepts and ideas, and I love watching it come to life with every click of the shutter. After completing the Graphic Design program at CSN I began a second degree in commercial photography. While working hard towards finishing my college career, I was also working hard towards building my professional career. Towards building my name. I know that things don't just happen over night and I'm dedicated towards putting in long hours to get my self established. I graduated in May of 2010 and since then, I have been building up my list of clients as well gaining lots of experience. Thank you so much for visiting my site and checking out my work.
